AIR INDIA EXPRESS FLIGHT CRASH AT KOZHIKODE AIRPORT IS BEING INVESTIGATED:

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday reached Kozhikode Airport to take stock of the situation and implementation of relief measures being carried out at the site where an Air India Express flight crash-landed on Friday evening, killing 18 people.

Reasons for Air India Express flight crash at Karipur airport being investigated, said Puri. At least 18 people including two pilots have lost their lives in the incident. However, the four-cabin crew members are safe, said the Air India Express in a statement. The injured are admitted to hospitals in Malappuram and Kozhikode, according to Kerala government officials.

ABHISHEK BACHCHAN RECOVERS FROM COVID:

After testing positive for coronavirus last month, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has recovered from the disease. He was discharged from the hospital, the actor announced on Saturday. “A promise is promise! This afternoon I tested COVID-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this,” the 44-year-old actor wrote on Twitter on Saturday. “I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine,” Amitabh Bachchan announced on Twitter.
