CHATPATI ALOO CHOLE CHAAT RECIPE

Aloo chana chaat is a healthy and lip smacking snack food.Learn how to make it quickly in just five steps.

All you need:one bowl of soaked white chickpeas (kabuli chana), 4 to 5 potatoes, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, coriander leaves, 1 carrot and spices.

  1. Boil one bowl of soaked kabuli chana (soak for 7 to 8 hours) and 3 to 4 medium sized potatoes in a pressure cooker up to 3 to 4 whistles.
  2. Take pan and heat oil. Add cumin seeds, chopped onions and two chopped tomatoes. Let it cook for few minutes and then add mashed potatoes and chana (Mash half quantity of chana and add). Leave the lid closed for five minutes.
  3. Add water and required salt, red mirchi powder, coriander powder and little garam masala powder. Mix well and let it boil for five more minutes. (Avoid green chillies).
  4. Take into a bowl and garnish with chopped onions, coriander leaves, sev,and one spoon Dahi (curd) and 3 to 4 lemon drops according to your taste.
  5. To make the recipe healthier, add grated carrot and beetroot and serve your family the most loved snack. (You can serve 3 to 4 people with the above quantity of ingredients).
