Actor Sushant Singh Rajput commits suicide:

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, known for films, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kai Po Che and Kedarnath, was found dead at his Mumbai residence on Sunday.Rajput, who hails from Bihar, started his career with popular television daily soap, PavitraRishta. He was 34.Rajput was reportedly found hanging at his residence.

As corona cases spike, 500 railway coaches to be used for Covid patients:

The coaches will increase Delhi’s capacity by 8,000 beds, home minister Amit Shah said on Twitter after a meeting with the capital’s chief minister. With more than 22,000 active cases, Delhi is the third-worst affected after the states of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Telangana to develop tree parks in ULBs for forest-like feel:

To give a forest-like experience in the heart of urban areas, the State government is considering development of an exclusive tree park each in all the 141 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Unlike the existing parks, which have flower plants, ornamental shrubs, walking tracks and sit-outs among others, the tree parks will be filled with only tall and massive trees.

Twenty-four cases were reported from Sangareddy, followed by 14 from Medchal, 11 from Rangareddy, four from Mahabubnagar, two each from Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Mulugu, Rajanna-Sircilla and Mancherial, one each from Siddipet, Khammam, Medak, Nizamabad, Nagarkurnool, Kamareddy and Jagtiyal.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has started the facility of digital booking and payment of the cylinder digitally. Accordingly, the Bharat Gas cylinder can now be booked through WhatsApp and payment made for the refill through digital mode.The BPCL in a press note said the customers can save its helpline number 1800224344 on their registered mobile numbers and send Hi to the number through WhatsApp. An instant message will be recieved and then send 1 or book to the same number.

Telangana EAMCET to be conducted as scheduled:

According to the schedule, the TS EAMCET is to be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological-University (JNTU-H) from July 6 to 9. Similarly, the Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is scheduled from July 1 to 3 and the Engineering Common Entrance Test on July 4. The Law Common Entrance Test and PG Law Common Entrance Test is scheduled on July 10 while the Integrated Common Entrance Test and Education Common Entrance Test is to be held on July 13 and 15.

Saudi to decide on Haj in a week:

Saudi Arabian authorities were considering cancelling the annual Haj pilgrimage season for the first time since the establishment of the Kingdom in 1932, after the number of coronavirus infections exceeded 1,00,000, a senior official said.

“The case has been carefully studied and various scenarios are being considered. A formal decision will be taken within a week,” said the official in the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah.
