Indian Army officer, two soldiers killed in clash with Chinese troops in Ladakh:

Tensions along the Line of Actual Control between India and China have spiked with an Indian army officer and two soldiers killed in the Galwan area of Ladakh, the Indian army said in a statement on Tuesday.This is the first time in 45 years that troops of both sides have reported casualties during a face-off.

Chennai lockdown rules for those coming in or moving out of the city:

The Tamil Nadu government on Monday declared that Chennai, and parts of Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur districts will go under complete lockdown from June 19 to June 30. Telangana records 219 new cases, two deaths on Monday:

Telangana reported 219 new Covid-19 infections on Monday, taking the overall count of coronavirus positive cases to 5193, while the death toll increased to 187 with two new fatalities, according to the health bulletin department.Out of the new positive cases, 189 persons from areas under GHMC tested positive, 13 positive cases were reported from Rangareddy district, four persons from Warangal urban, three from Warangal Rural, two each from Sangareddy and Medchal and one positive patient each from Mahabubnagar, Medak, Adilabad, Yadadri, Wanaparthy and Peddapally.

Gokul Chat owner tests positive for Covid, 19 workers home quarantined:

The owner of noted eatery Gokul Chat House in Koti has tested positive for Covid-19 infection. The district surveillance teams have shut the famous food joint and have advised nearly 19 workers of Gokul Chat House to remain under home quarantine.The surveillance teams comprising officials from GHMC, health and police are also trying to track persons who had visited the eatery in the last two to three days.

Suryapet Army officer killed in skirmish with Chinese army in Ladakh:

The violent face-off with the Chinese soldiers resulted in the martyrdom of a senior officer of the Indian Army hailing from Suryapet town of Telangana.According to reports reaching here, Colonel SantoshBabu along with two soldiers attained martyrdom in the skirmish at Galwan Valley in Ladakh last night.
