Maharashtra Eases Rules In “Mission Begin Again”, Lockdown Till June 30:

Maharashtra, the state with more than 62,000 of the country’s 1.8 lakh coronavirus cases, has drawn up a detailed plan for easing of restrictions that would begin on June 3 and would unfold in three phases till June 8. Beyond June 8, the government will decide the way forward depending on the ground situation. The “Mission Begin Again”, as the government dubbed it, gave guidelines that start with morning exercises and continue till night curfew.

Ten low to moderate intensity tremors, shaking Delhi-NCR in the span of one and a half month indicate that a powerful earthquake could strike India’s National Capital in near future, warn some of the top geologists of the country.”We cannot predict time, place or exact scale, but do believe that there is a consistent seismic activity going around in the NCR region and can trigger in a major earthquake in Delhi,” said DrKalachandSain, Chief of Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, a premiere autonomous institute, run under Union Ministry of Science and Technology.

CM KCR extends lockdown in containment zones:

The Telangana State government decided to extend the lockdown till June 30 on the lines of the guidelines issued by the Union government. Chief Minister K ChandrashekharRao held discussions with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP Mahender Reddy and other senior officials following the Centre’s new guidelines, and decided to implement the relaxations permitted by the Centre in all the areas except in the containment zones.
