Mumbai Man Arrested For Celebrating Birthday On Street With Crackers: Cops

A 22-year-old man was arrested from Nagpada in south Mumbai for allegedly violating the lockdown order and social distancing rules by celebrating his birthday on the street in his area with his friends and bursting crackers, police said on Sunday.The accused, Hammad Ansari, who claims to be a social worker, was arrested on Saturday after he shared a video of his birthday celebration on social media, a police official said.

Delhi Reserves Hospitals For Residents, Opens Borders From Tomorrow:

Hospitals run by the Delhi government and some private hospitals will be reserved only for residents of the national capital, Chief Minister ArvindKejriwal said today, amid a huge controversy over availability of beds. 206 new cases, 10 deaths in Telangana on Saturday:

Sharp rise in the number of Covid-19 cases and related fatalities in Telangana is continuing, with 206 new cases and 10 deaths reported on Saturday.

The day, which saw the daily reportage crossing 200 for the first time, had 152 cases from the GHMC limits alone, while Rangareddy district reported 10 cases and Medchal reported 18. Nirmal and Yadadri had five cases each, while Mahabubnagar reported four. Jagityal and Nagarkurnool had two each while Mahbubabad, Vikarabad, Jangaon, Gadwal, Nalgonda, Bhadradri, Mancherial and Karimnagar had one case each. The 152 cases in GHMC limits took the number of cases in the capital region alone to 2,096.
